Shape order from chaos.
Ka:OS is a tactical card system with a clear core: you choose a card, align it left or right and activate actions.
From a few decisions emerges a dynamic game system with depth, risk and surprising twists.
Three corners. Three actions. One decision that changes everything.

What is Ka:OS?
Want to see what Ka:OS is before reserving? The PDF gives a compact overview of the game idea, card layout, Triple-A system and Serie 1 contents.
The Triple-A System
Ka:OS is built on a simple but scalable flow:
3 Actions
Each card has three action points: Attack. Defense. Healing.
2 Activations
Not everything happens at once. Two action sides become active and create tactical tension.
1 Alignment
The card is aligned left or right. This decides which neighbors are affected.
3 Actions. 2 Activations. 1 Alignment.
You are not just playing a card. You decide how it interacts with the system.
Game principle in 5 seconds
- Choose your card.
- Align it left or right.
- Activate attack, defense or healing.
- Change central values.
- Resolve all effects in the circle.
One move. Many consequences.
Why Ka:OS is different
Not a classic card game. Not a pure dice game. Not a rigid board game.
Ka:OS combines card values, direction, actions and modification into a modular system.
Each card has a central value from 1 to 10. This value can change and affects how strong actions are.
The three corners of the card make every decision spatial:
- What affects left?
- What affects right?
- What helps you?
- What hits your neighbor?
The result: A game that starts quickly but gains depth with every round.
Number of players
Ka:OS can be played solo, in a duel or in a group. The full dynamics unfold from 3 players, when circle logic, neighbors, alignment and interaction become visible.
Internal test notes (not customer reviews)
"You grasp the core quickly – but every round feels different."
"The triangular cards make it clear: direction is a real decision here."
"It looks like a card game but plays more like a tactical system."
"Easy entry, but you immediately sense how much depth is there."
Not publicly documented customer reviews. Internal test phrasing, not advertising with test results.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a free hold and an order?
A free hold is not automatically converted into a paid contract. Using “Zahlungspflichtig bestellen” places a paid order. Binding order-period dates are shown on the product page and in the terms.
What is Serie 1?
Serie 1 is the First Edition of Ka:OS, the physical card game from Panenos.
Is Serie 1 a complete game?
Yes. You receive a fully playable Ka:OS game with 40 Ka:OS cards, 2 Ka:OS dice and the "Ka:OS" rulebook.
Do I have to give feedback?
No. Feedback is expressly welcome, but not a requirement to receive the game. Anyone who gives feedback helps us develop Ka:OS further.
What does First Edition mean?
First Edition and Serie 1 refer to the same current retail edition, not two different products.
From what age is Ka:OS suitable?
The age recommendation is from 6 years. Not suitable for children under 3 years because of small parts. CE marked.
When is delivery?
After the 6-week order phase ends, delivery is prepared. Delivery takes place within 2 weeks after the order phase ends.
Is shipping included?
For deliveries within Germany and Austria, shipping is included in the Serie 1 price. For deliveries outside Germany and Austria, additional shipping costs apply. These must be requested before ordering.
Is Ka:OS a classic card game?
No. Ka:OS uses cards, but the system is based on central values, directed actions and alignment in a circle.
What does Triple-A mean?
Triple-A stands for Actions, Activation and Alignment. Each card has three action points, two are activated and alignment decides how the card works.
Why are the cards triangular?
Because each corner carries a directed function. The shape is part of the game mechanics, not decoration.
Can Ka:OS be played with two?
Yes. The strongest dynamics emerge from three players, when circle logic with left and right neighbors fully applies.
Can I see more before reserving?
Yes. The PDF gives a compact overview of the game idea, card layout, Triple-A system and Serie 1 contents.
